Do you have a love of film? Are you interested in the "behind the scenes" of the film industry? Do you have free time to help coordinate various events and projects for the International Black Film Festival of Nashville?

Then, becoming a volunteer is for you. Join our volunteer family!

Please complete the following application to volunteer for the 2009 International Black Film Festival of Nashville (IBFFN). (Please Note: Volunteer positions are open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older only.)

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Box Office Sales - General ticket sales and will call tickets
  • Volunteer Check-in - Distribute materials, T-Shirts, confirm job assignments
  • Hospitality Tent - food service, Hospitality tent organization, check for laminates/proper credentials
  • Usher - direct audience to proper theater, tear tickets, light sweeping and clean-up in between movies
  • Technical Support- Internet Café Monitoring
  • Help Desk- General Q & A, Lost and Found
  • Floaters

Drivers Needed:

Each year we have a need to transport our guests to and from the airport. Vehicles are provided. However, you must have a clean driving record and proof of your own insurance.
